President Duterte’s Tactical and Positional Move to Check his Enemies

By solely transferring the drug related operation to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was a wise move, and I’m glad President Rodrigo Duterte responded intelligently to the sentiment of a “few” who are against the government’s war on drugs. Ito ay nagpapakita rin na ang ating presidente ngayon ay lubhang sensitibo sa isyung ibinabato sa kanyang administrasyon. Ang paglalayo ni President Duterte sa “limelight of condemnation” laban sa ating kapulisan (PNP) sa kanyang war on drugs ang  nakita kong pinaka-effective move to ease his critics. Kung baga sa larong chess, it is a good tactical and positional move to his advantage in checking his enemies.

Ngayong wala na sa eksena ang PNP sa war on drugs, it is high time to General Bato Dela Rosa to shift their war against the riding in tandem criminals. Sa totoo lang, may mga “theory” akong nasasalamin na ang mga riding in tandem na ito ang ginagamit o kinakasangkapan ng mga “enemies of the state”. First, to destroy the image of the PNP. Second, to project that war on drugs was a war against the poor. Third, to project that EJK was state sponsored. And fifth, to destabilize the Duterte administration. Ang mga riding in tandem criminals na ito ay may posibilidad na mga “mercenaries”, “hitman”, “sparrows” and “ordinary criminals” who have personal grudge to others.

Nasabi kong mercenaries because enemies of the state (political opposition) can hire rogue policeman and soldiers to kill their targets.  Ang mga drug syndicate (drug lord’s, protectors and narco politicians) ay meron ding sariling hitman para itumba ang mga drug pushers and personalities na posibleng ikanta sila. On the other hand, it is possible also that the “reds” reactivated their own assassins (sparrow) to kill drug personalities. Puwera sa mga ordinary criminals, these enemies of the state have “two main objectives”, and that is to kill “common targets (drug personalities)” and to “destroy the image of Duterte administration”. Both of these objective was leading to one purpose. To destabilize the government.
