Presidet Rodrigo Duterte and
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV
The
word war between President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV was
blown into proportion na hindi sana dapat nangyari. Only if the president himself
just taken it for granted, particularly that recycled issue about his bank
account.
na napaka-sensitibo ng ating presidente and they capitalized it. It's his weakness, wika nga. Ang problema, kung baga sa isang “pain” (bait) kumakagat dito si
President Duterte. Parang pambu-bully kung baga. Sadyang pinipikon ni Senator
Trillanes si President Digong and for every reaction the president did about
that “old issue” of his bank accounts, humahalakhak ng
malakas ang kanyang mga kalaban, particularly Senator De Lima and Senator
Trillanes. For them, to annoy and made President Duterte engaging them in their "war of the words" is already
a victory.
Now,
they even assembled a group they called “Tindig Pilipinas” whom according to
them shall solicit a million signatures to force President Duterte to sign a
waiver to open his bank accounts. This is the “effect” of the “caused” Senator
Trillanes did in recycling the old issues about the president’s bank account. For
me, soliciting one million signatures was an “exercise in futility”. Isang
milyon lang? Sino
bang tao, presidente man o hindi ang gugustuhing pumirma sa isang waiver to
open his bank account? Do they forgot that
more than sixteen million people voted for our president? Not to mention the
trust and satisfaction ratings that he enjoyed in the latest Pulse Asia survey.
No way. President Duterte was not a bum. He is a lawyer and a former prosecutor
before. A person who have knowledge in law. He knew if the evidenced against
him is just fabricated, or illegally obtained. He cannot be baited by the opposition at alam ito
ng mga opossition. But they’re trying hard to annoy the president. Make him “inis to the bones”, as the youngsters
told. “Yun lang, no more no less. Now,
what was the remedy for the president to do? Just to keep his mouth shut. As
I’ve said in my FB pilantik komentaryo,
How
about the opposition (dilawan)? Never mind them Mr. President. Nabubuhay sila ngayon
dahil sa pakikipag-word war sa iyo. Dito sila kumukuha ng "germs" mula sa iyong bibig na nagsisilbi nilang “vitamins” particularly Senator Trillanes just to stay alive (in
the limelight and in the media). Keeping silent making them die a natural
death, kahit magpustahan pa tayo. How about the Makabayan
Bloc? Never mind them also Mr. President. They are all “kontrabidas”. A kind of species who never be contented during
their lifetime. Kahit sino pa ang maupong presidente, kokontrahin at
kokontrahin nila. No matter how good ang nakikita nilang ginagawa. Hahanap at
hahanap pa rin sila ng butas to dissent kahit pa makipag-ally sila sa
opposition, ay gagawin nila. I called them also “The Hunyangos”.
Ano
ang dapat mong gawin Mr. President? Focus to your mandated job as a president of our country. Like what you've said "A worker in government.” Fulfill the
promises that you promised to us, your constituents. Continue your war on drugs and
terrorism. Purge the corrupt government officials and let the wheels of justice
continue to grind against Senator De Lima et al.
Fight the oligarchs. Be sensitive and do not let the prices of the basic
needs (rice, food, etc.) and services (electric, water, transport fares) to
proliferate. Eliminate monopoly and allow other companies (foreign or local) to
compete with the two giant internet service provider. Continue the government’s
plan and project in infrastructures under the “Build, Build, Build” program.
With all these, and the “big changes”
that may possibly happen in the future to our country, makakaiwan ka ng “legacy” sa sambayanang Filipino. At
your age now, I knew and I believed that you can grab this opportunity of a
lifetime, na hindi nagawa ng mga nauna at mas nakababatang lider sa iyo. A
legacy that made you a unique and unforgettable president in the history of the
Philippine politics. Walang makakaagaw sa iyo nito.I prayed to GOD Almighty to give you a long
life, strength and enough determination and spirit to lead our country.
From the bottom of our heart, thank you, Mr. President.
From the bottom of our heart, thank you, Mr. President.
